Starting from Tenganan, the Bali Aga village, nestleed in a tropical valley. The villages are famous for their rare and exquisite cloth dress called Kain Gringsing. Bebandem being especially interesting. A few kilometres further west is Sibetan which is rich in rice and fruit and is famous for Salak (snack skin fruit) a brown fruit similar to an apple. Salak palms cover the range between Sibetan and Selat Iseh. Learn the process of salt making from the locals and then visit Goa Lawah, a bat cave whose walls literally vibrate with thousands of bats-their bodies packed so close together that the roof appears to be moving!
