The journey begins with an exciting river cruise from Bandar Seri Begawan to Bangar. Beginning the River Cruise takes us on the Brunei River passing through the famous Water Village known as the “Venice of the East” by early European. The ferry cuts through dense Mangrove Forest and Nipah Palm. Meet and greet by local guide at Bangar Jetty and transfer overland to Sumbiling Eco Village for Morning Tea. Sumbiling Eco Village is an Eco tourism project where local community of Temburong is involved especially those from Kampong Sumbiling Lama and Batang Duri. It is situated by a calm beautiful bank of Temburong River, surrounded by rainforest & local exotic fruit trees. The available facilities are traditional Iban huts, jungle herbs trail, camp site, modern clean toilets and changing rooms. Embark on a local Iban open motorized sampan called “Temuai” for an adventure boat ride to Ulu Temburong National Park.

At the Park, you can register and join a guided jungle walk on plank walkway with more than 1200 steps to the Canopy Walkway. Along the way, please make plenty of stops to enjoy the environment. Drink lot of water to hydrate yourself. Before you know it, you will have reached the base of the Canopy Walkway. Climb about 300 steps up for a bird eye view of Rainforest canopy. Afterwards, retreat back to Sumbiling Eco Village for lunch. Relax or take a dip by the Temburong River (subject to river condition). At the end of our Eco-adventure, We will travel over land back to Bangar town, where a ferry will be waiting to bring you on an exciting river cruise back to Bandar Seri Begawan with fond memories of Temburong.
