Tour 1
Dolphin watching in Muscat offers a great opportunity to not only have a chance to see Dolphins and other sea life but also view the rugged coastline from the sea. Setting out to sea in the morning the captain of your boat will search out some of the pods of Dolphin that live in the Sea of Oman. Usually, the Dolphin is in pods of dozens of animals but they are quick so you will need your camera ready and a quick finger. This is a great trip for all ages from about 3 years of age
Extra charge for Dolphin watching from the jetty Rial Omani

Tour 2
If you want to see a picture perfect fort and really rugged valleys then this day trip to Nakhl Fort and its surrounding wadis is for you. Nakhl Fort sits on its own small hill dominating the plain towards the sea and the Wadis (valleys) behind. We include both the fort and one of these wadis. This is a good tour to take if you only have one day and want to photograph some really original Omani views. Lunch is included.

A walk above the clouds could be a highlight of this overnight visit to Jebel Akhdar. From Muscat, we visit the really great Fort of Nizwa; its got canon, a nice easy to understand museum and the souq (market) near to the fort has lots of interest - especially on Friday. After lunch a walk through the steep terraced fields in Jebel Akhdar where fruit trees, grains, and roses are grown. Overnight in a well-located hotel in the mountains. After breakfast, the return to Muscat is through a spectacular vehicle track though dramatic Wadis with a light lunch.

For some great variety take this overnight tour to the Green Turtles of Oman and the Golden Sands of the Wahiba Desert. Following the coast after Muscat a stop is made at one of the steep honey colored wadis which enter the sea, this is a really nice wadi to walk through and families love the contrast of barren mountains and date palms. After lunch in Sur a brief visit to the Dhow Yards is made, these are still made by hand and offers plenty of interest. From your overnight hotel make a night-time visit to see the Green Turtles lay eggs, whatever the age this is a great experience - but best for children aged 10+. After breakfast the return road to Muscat allows us to visit the Wahiba Sands where we can visit a local Bedouin family in their home surrounded by the sand dunes. We haven't included a camel ride - if you want one then we will organize it and you can pay direct.

You will stay in a private camp in the desert surrounded by golden dunes under a starry sky. After breakfast depart for the town of Sur to visit the Dhow boatbuilding yards.
