Everest Panorama Trek

Everest Panorama Trek

Overview
The Everest Panorama trek is a very popular trek that can be done within a short time. It suites those who desire a short trek featuring beautiful mountains and glimpses into Himalayan lifestyles. It gives travelers an opportunity to get in touch with the well-known ethnic group of people called the Sherpas. This trek does not take you all the way to the Base Camp of Mount Everest, but it still gives you outstanding views of beautiful mountains, including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Thamserku and many other peaks.

This trip also includes visits to several cultural heritage sites located throughout Kathmandu valley, as well as a trip to the natural heritage site of Sagarmatha National Park, which offers a variety of colorful floras and faunas. At the same time, you will enjoy walking through the Dudhkoshi valley while crossing high suspension bridges, passing by many Buddhist prayer rocks, and viewing pine and rhododendron flower forests as well as small farm terraces situated on sloping mountainsides. You will also have a chance to see a huge domestic animal, the yak, which are used for caring heavy loads of trekking gear and other necessary items for lodges and villagers.

Special Notice: Due to unpredictable weather conditions in the Himalayas, there may be unforeseen schedule changes in domestic flights to Lukla and from Lukla. The flights may be delayed for several hours or pushed back by a day or more, depending on the circumstances. Although this is rare, it can happen even during the best trekking seasons. As you know, high altitude weather conditions can be difficult to predict. Therefore, we strongly suggest that you plan for this by allowing for an extra day or two in Nepal after your trek, if possible. This will help ensure that you have some flexibility with regard to your trek. If everything goes according to plan, you will have time to enjoy other activities such as rafting, wildlife viewing, shopping, or just relaxing after your adventure.
