Khopra Trek

Khopra Trek
Overview
Khopra Trek leads you off the beaten path from the main trail to Ghorepani Poon Hill. It offers very close views of the Himalayas and takes to the unique trail where people hardly get this opportunity.  From Khopra danda one can explore the beautiful valley and panoramic views from Dhaulagiri to Langtang.
Trek to Khopra begins from scenic ride to Pokhara and a lead up through Ghandruk village. The trail continues to Tadapani and off the beaten trail to Bayali which is following the forest of Rhododendron and pine. It is not the normal tourist trail so you may not meet people on the way.  As this is a new trek route to Annapurnas, there are basic tea houses available. So prepare for this. The trail leads even close to Annapurna South to Khopradanda which offers great sunrise view with panoramic views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri with the entire range. The Khayar Lake is another attraction of this trek which is really beautiful and unique. Then the trail turns other way down to Swanta and up to Ghorepani then ends at Pokhara.
Khopra trekking is a great option to watch a close view of Annapurnas.
